Giving up the rabbits

Thank God David is not having fever anymore. He is on IV antibiotics. We are praying and hoping that the blood culture result be good and he could be discharged soon.

We were not sure how David could have gotten the infecion and in order to rule out every possibile cause, we thought it might be good to persuade Josh to give away his 2 pet rabbits. The rabbits were given to him a few months ago and Josh loves playing with them. David's mum and I told him Daddy's hospitalisation may be due to hygiene problem caused by the rabbits. With that, our sensible little boy told me "I was also thinking that the rabbits were not so good for Daddy. When I carry and play with them, some fur came out. I think we can give them away and when Daddy is well, we can keep another pet." I was so overjoyed to have some a caring and understanding son. Praise the Lord for His good works in Joshua's life! Though he may be young, slightly more than 5 1/2 year old, he does show a maturity beyond his age.

So, now what we need to do is to find out who would want to adopt those rabbits. Mike's friend expressed interest to have them and we hope they could quickly find their new home before David is discharged from the hospital.

God bless,
