Today is Day -12, the start of the count down to David's BMT transplant date on 01Jun05. Also the start of the conditioning regimen.
I am beginning to feel a little anxious. Cannot explain, kind of a mixed feeling. On one hand, it should be an event deserving celebration - David is given a 2nd chance in an otherwise hopeless situation (hopeless in the context of medical science because donor transplant is the only curative method for multiple myeloma). On the other hand, there are risks involved. Things could go wrong - oh Lord Jesus, please prohibit it!
Well, all the more I need to focus on the Lord and draw strength from Him. "Lord Jesus, we need You!"
