David's last medical review

David's last review was last Thur. Normal routine check up showed all is well. Thank God! He is now only on Thalidomide. All antibotics and immuno-suppressant have been removed. Praise the Lord for the progress in his recovery. Thanks to all who have been praying for him all these while.

Do continue to pray for all whom you know who needs a touch from the Lord, for those who needs a miracle. More importantly, may we desire the Giver more than the gift. As a friend in US once shared with me the revelation she received from the preaching of her church minister, that we need Jesus more than the miracles, more the answers to our prayers. This is what she shared:
"Our sermon text for today was John’s account of Jesus feeding the multitudes with the loaves and the fish (in John 6:1-15), and our minister suggested that the answer to the question in the text about where they should buy bread for the people was indeed that Jesus is himself the bread of life (and therefore can quench hunger forever rather than for just a few hours like the bread). Based on this, our minister suggested that perhaps the miracles we seek aren’t really the answer to our prayers….and instead, that Jesus is the answer, and that Jesus doesn’t give us what we want but instead what we need. For me, this provided an interesting new understanding of the story of the loaves and the fish."

May we be blessed as we abide in our Lord Jesus, "giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy." (Colossians 1:12-18)

All honour, praise and glory be to the name of Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God!

Have a blessed weekend!
